Operating instructions
Charging up your Hydra Speaker
- Locate the provided USB-A to Micro USB Cable.
- Locate the Micro USB input (4) on the Hydra speaker.
- Make sure that the Micro USB input (4) is clear of obstruction (dirt/dust etc.).
- Plug the USB-A end of the cable into your BYO wall or car charger making sure to lightly push it in (do not push with excessive force).
- Plug the Micro USB end into the Hydra Speaker’s Micro USB input (4) and push home making sure it is connected (do not push with excessive force).
- Turn the power on at the power source. A small LED will illuminate next to the Micro USB port indicating that it is charging successfully. The small LED will extinguish when the Hydra speaker is fully charged and is ready to be used.
- To stop charging simply remove your charging cable from the Hydra speaker Micro USB port (4) or turn off at the wall charger. Make sure to replace the charging port cover (4) to keep the unit sealed from water ingress.
- If the Hydra speaker sits idle charging and not playing music, it will automatically turn itself off to conserve power after 10 minutes.
Powering On
- Locate the Power On/Off button on the top of the Hydra speaker (8).
- Press and hold the Power On/Off button (8) for 3 seconds to turn on.
- The Hydra speaker will make an audible sound and immediately activate pairing mode. The LED
located on the power On/Off button (8) will flash on/off in second intervals.
Powering Off
- Locate the Power On/Off button on the top of the Hydra speaker (8).
- Press and hold the Power On/Off button (8) for 2 seconds to turn off.
- The Hydra speaker will make an audible sound and shut down.
BT Pairing (first time)
- Follow ‘Powering On’ directions from step 1 to 3.
- Locate your Bluetooth settings menu on your device and make sure it is on. Search for your specific
‘Hydra Speaker’. - Once located select the Hydra Speaker and auto pairing should occur. If prompted for a password,
input “0000”. - If successfully paired the Hydra speaker will make an audible sound and the LED next to the Power On/Off button (8) will remain solid.
BT Unpairing
- Locate your Bluetooth settings menu on your device and search for ‘Hydra speaker’.
- Locate the settings or information setting within your paired device and select “unpair or forget this
device”. - The Hydra Speaker will make an audible sound to indicate it has unpaired and will resume pairing mode with the LED next to the Power On/Off button flashing 1 second On/Off
TWS Pairing (first time)
- Two of the same model Hydra speakers are required for this function.
- Make sure to unpair your device/s from the Hydra speakers.
- Power on both Hydra speakers (8) simultaneously.
- Double press the TWS Pair button (3) simultaneously on each Hydra device to activate the TWS pairing function on both units.
- The Hydra speakers will both call out ‘Left Channel’ & ‘Right Channel’ to indicate the pairing sequence is complete so you can quickly determine which speaker is for which side.
- Follow the BT pairing steps 1-4 to pair with your device.
- Normal operation can now commence in true stereo sound!
Volume Up & Down
- Locate Volume Up/Skip Forward or Volume Down/Skip Back button (2 or 7) on the top of the Hydra speaker.
- Press your preferred button as many times as needed to either increase or decrease the Hydra speaker volume to the setting you desire.
Skip Forward & Back
- Locate Volume Up/Skip Forward or Volume Down/Skip Back button (2 or 7) on the top of the Hydra speaker.
- Long press your preferred button to either skip forward or back to the next tune.
Taking an Incoming Call
- Locate ‘Play/Pause’ button (5) on the top of the Hydra speaker.
- Press the ‘Play/Pause’ button (5) once.
Rejecting an Incoming Call
- Locate ‘Play/Pause’ button (5) on the top of the Hydra speaker.
- Long press the ‘Play/Pause’ button (5) until the call is dismissed on your paired device.

PLEASE NOTE: The SoundBlock is only WATER RESISTANT. It has a level 6 water ingression rating, which means it can sustain high-pressure water jets for 30 minutes. It cannot be fully submerged in water.

Warranty information
3SIXT 2-YEAR STANDARD MANUFACTURER WARRANTY
3sixT will replace the faulty product at no cost to the consumer. The warranty does not extend to any consequential damages or costs that may be incurred and is valid for 2 YEARS from the date of purchase.
The consumer must return the faulty product to the retail store it was purchased from together with proof of purchase. The benefits to the consumer under this warranty are in addition to other rights and remedies of the consumer under Australian and New Zealand laws in relation to the goods to which the warranty relates.
Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and for compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.
